Statutory Cancellation & Fee Refund Guidelines

As of now we do not provide any option for cancellation of centre franchises, subscriptions, admission, or other services purchased or paid. Once a fee is paid for any service, no refund can be provided, either totally or partially. Please read all terms carefully prior to completing any financial transactions on www.nied.co.in.

Non-Refundable Fees

Franchise, subscription, and admission fees are completely non-refundable once paid under any circumstances.

Seamless Fee Transfer

Fees paid for one program can be fully transferred if subsequently admitted to another program of equal fee value.

Fraud Forfeiture

In case of false information or fraudulent admission, all deposited fees shall be forfeited immediately.

Clause I

Non-Cancellation of Centre Franchises

As of now, NEXTGEN INDIA EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL does not provide any option for the cancellation of centre franchises once approved or paid. Franchisees are expected to complete all preliminary evaluations before applying.

Franchise fee payments are final and non-reversible.
No partial or full refund for unutilized operational periods.
Center heads must verify territorial scope on www.nied.co.in prior to payment.

Clause II

Non-Refundability of Student Admission Fees

Once a fee is paid for student admission, subscriptions, or examination services, no refund will be provided either totally or partially under any circumstance. We strongly advise applicants to review course outlines carefully.

Includes registration, exam fee, and study material costs.
No refund requests accepted for voluntary withdrawal or non-attendance.
Candidates must verify course eligibility before making payments.

Clause III

Caution Deposit & Security Refund Terms

Caution Deposit and Security Deposit collected by NIED COUNCIL shall be refunded in full. The refund is processed after the student leaves NIED COUNCIL upon successful program completion and declaration of final results.

Full refund payable after completion of course & final exam result release.
Subject to clearance of all pending dues or claims against the student.
Refund is issued strictly to the registered student bank account.

Clause IV

Timeline & No Interest Policy on Deposits

Students must claim their security deposit within one (1) year from the date of final result declaration. Thereafter, no claim regarding the refund of security will be considered. No interest is payable on deposits held.

Strict 1-year time window from the date of result announcement.
Unclaimed security deposits lapse permanently after 1 year.
No interest or growth accrues on caution money held by NIED COUNCIL.

Clause V

Program Transfer & Fee Re-allocation

Students who have paid fees for one NIED program and are subsequently admitted to another program may claim a refund or transfer of earlier fees. No administrative charges are deducted for valid program transfers.

If payable fees are identical, earlier fees are directly transferred to the new course.
Zero administrative deduction applied on approved program transfers.
Any fee differential must be settled before final admission confirmation.

Clause VI

Cancellation & Fee Forfeiture for Misrepresentation

Admission obtained by furnishing incorrect, false, or fraudulent information is liable to immediate cancellation. In such cases, all deposited fees shall be forfeited completely, and pending fees remain recoverable.

Immediate forfeiture of total deposited fees without right of appeal.
Student remains liable to pay balance fees for the remaining course duration.
Subject to additional disciplinary action or financial penalties as decided by NIED.

Clause VII

Case-by-Case Discretionary Reviews

All other rare or unlisted cases concerning fee refunds shall be submitted to the NIED Governance Board and decided strictly on a case-by-case basis on individual merit and exceptional circumstances.

Requires formal written representation with supporting documentary evidence.
Decision of the NIED Competent Authority is final and binding.
No automatic entitlement created by precedent in other cases.

Clause VIII

Payment Gateway Failures & Double Deductions

Technical glitches resulting in multiple deductions for a single transaction will be reconciled after verification from bank payment gateway servers and refunded to the source account within 7 to 10 working days.

Requires transaction ID and bank statement copy submission.
Automatic reconciliation with banking partners on failed sessions.
Refund credited strictly to the original payment source mode.

Clause IX

Application & Processing Fee Non-Adjustability

Initial processing fees, prospectus costs, online portal registration charges, and late evaluation fees are non-adjustable and non-refundable under all academic scenarios.

Covers technical portal overheads and verification expenses.
Non-transferable to other applicants or center candidates.
Applies equally to skill diploma and certificate tracks.

Clause X

Center Renewal & Franchise Subscription Renewal

Franchise renewal fees or annual portal maintenance fees paid by institutional centers are strictly non-refundable upon renewal confirmation.

Guarantees ongoing portal access and central verification support.
No partial refund upon voluntary surrender of center affiliation.
Subject to annual compliance terms of NIED Council.

Clause XI

Certificate & Re-evaluation Fee Non-Refundability

Fees remitted for mark sheet correction, re-evaluation, duplicate certificate issue, or verification cards are non-refundable once the administrative review has commenced.

Non-refundable regardless of score changes during re-evaluation.
Covers physical document printing and courier dispatches.
Verified directly by the Central Examination Controller.

Clause XII

Program Postponement or Discontinuation

If a course or program is officially postponed or withdrawn by NIED COUNCIL due to unavoidable technical reasons, enrolled students will be offered alternative course enrollment options or appropriate fee adjustments.

Option to transition into an equivalent accredited program.
Adjustments subject to official Executive Committee authorization.
No extra charges incurred for mandatory course re-alignments.

Clause XIII

Verification of Offline/Bank Transfer Payments

Offline payments made via DD, NEFT, RTGS, or UPI bank transfers must be supported by official transaction receipts. Unidentified or unverified bank credits will not be credited or refunded without proof.

Must submit UTR/Ref number to Finance Desk promptly.
Verification period takes 2-3 business working days.
Official digital receipt issued upon successful clearance.

Clause XIV

Refund Desk Contact & Claim Submission

For any official refund claims (such as caution deposit returns or payment transfer requests), users must submit written requests directly to info@nied.co.in or md@nied.co.in with proof of payment.

Include Student Enrollment No / Center Code in email subject.
Attach clear copies of fee receipts and result declaration proof.
Direct escalation to the Finance & Accounts Directorate.

Clause XV

Legal Jurisdiction & Financial Disputes

All financial dealings and refund claims are governed under Indian laws. Any legal proceedings or dispute arising out of fee refunds shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of competent courts at the Council's headquarters.

Subject to statutory Indian financial regulations.

Student submits No Dues certificate along with final exam result mark sheet to the Center Head.

Frequently asked questions regarding fee refunds, caution money, and transfers

Can I cancel my center franchise and get a fee refund?

No. As of now we do not provide any option for cancellation of centre franchises or subscriptions. Once fee is paid for any service, we cannot provide any refund, either totally or partially.

How do I claim my Caution/Security Deposit?

Caution/Security Deposit is refunded in full after completing the program and declaration of final examination results. You must claim your refund within 1 year from the result declaration date after clearing all dues.

What happens if I change my program to another course?

If you are admitted to another program, the fee paid earlier shall be transferred to the final program where admission is sought, without any administrative charge deductions if fees are equal.

What if admission is cancelled due to incorrect information?

If an admission is cancelled due to furnishing incorrect or false information, the fee deposited shall be forfeited completely, and the student remains liable to pay pending fees for the remaining course duration.
