Financial Probity & Anti-Corruption Protocol

How ethical compliance is monitored and enforced across all operations

1. Investigation & Notice

Upon receipt of an ethics complaint, the Central Ethics Committee issues a formal show-cause notice allowing 7 working days for response.

2. Committee Evaluation

An independent three-member panel reviews evidence, inspects records, and conducts hearings with full procedural fairness.

3. Statutory Action

Confirmed breaches result in written reprimands, center affiliation suspension, certificate revocation, or legal prosecution under law.

Frequently asked questions regarding ethical guidelines and enforcement

How can I report an ethical violation by a center?

You can submit a confidential complaint directly through the official student portal or write to ethics@nied.co.in along with supporting evidence. Whistleblower identity is kept strictly confidential.

What happens if an affiliated center overcharges fees?

Charging fees higher than the official rate published on the portal is a major breach. The center will be issued an immediate show-cause notice, and failure to refund excess charges may lead to affiliation cancellation.

Are certificates verified for academic authenticity?

Yes. All certificates issued by NIED Council feature unique QR codes, holographic elements, and online database records for instant verification by employers and institutions.

Is there a time limit for resolving grievance reports?

All formal complaints received by the Central Ethics Committee are reviewed and processed within 15 to 30 working days, depending on the complexity of the inquiry.
