On-Demand Examination System (ODES)
NEXTGEN INDIA EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL has been working on the concept of On-Demand Examination (ODE) across all offered courses since 2017 to bring flexibility into Virtual, Online, Open, and Distance learning.
The change of subject / additional subject applied for January, April, July, and October Public Exam will be reflected in NIED COUNCIL after the respective public exam. Similarly, applications for ODES will be reflected after the April Public Exam. There will be no On-Demand Examination during any other month.
Concept & Scope
The basic concept of On Demand Examination is that a NIED COUNCIL student can walk into the examination center as and when he/she feels ready. At present, ODES is conducted at NIED COUNCIL HQ at Jaipur and at approved Online Exam Centres for Certificate and Diploma courses.
Medium of Question Paper
The Question Paper will be in English and Hindi Medium Only. However, regional medium candidates wishing to appear through ODES have the choice of answering in their respective regional medium (note: separate regional medium question papers will not be provided).
The Features
A set of Question Papers is generated randomly by the computer out of an already developed Question Bank based on the blueprint and paper design of the subject as and when demanded. All generated Question Papers are unique with the same difficulty level.
These questions test learning objectives under knowledge, understanding, application, and skill competencies. Each item carries a distinct code indicating the subject, content area, objective tested, question type, marks allocated, and serial number.
Advantages of ODES
Result, Re-Checking & Certification
After due processing, the ODES results are declared and published through the official website www.nied.co.in during the last week of every month for the examinations conducted during the preceding month.
Mark sheets and other documents are printed only for overall pass candidates by the M&M unit and sent to the concerned Regional Centre for dispatch. Other candidates can apply online through E-service by paying the requisite fee.
Re-Checking / Re-Evaluation: Allowed as per NIED COUNCIL norms. Candidates may apply to the Director (Evaluation) on the prescribed proforma available on the website along with requisite fees.
